Impossible Touch, 1991
Site: Schloss Wolfsburg

Installation realized in the "Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg", on the occasion of the exhibition Forum Junker Kunst. This installation is part of the workgroup called the "Michelangelo-Project".

The two slides of this installation are projected crosswise on to the gallery space. They depict two outlines of probably the most famous arms known worldwide - taken from Michelangelo's ceiling fresco called "the creation of Adam". By means of projecting the two arms separate using all surfaces of the gallery space, the clipped image can never be seen without fractions: standing either on the left or the right side of the exhibition space, close to one of the projectors, one may see only one arm without fractions and distortions.

Technical data: 2 slide-projectors, two blank and black slides
